Hey guys!
I'm still here!
I just haven't sent anything because I've been busy. Writing the language tip is a bit of a pain, but it's also kind of fun. It eats a lot of time though.
So, I've been here in Nikolaev for 5 months now! Olya and Katya think that I'm going to stay here for a lot longer, but my whole district thinks that I'm leaving at the end of this transfer. I'm torn between wanting to be able to serve in other parts of the mission and the fact that I really love being here. I guess we'll find out in a month how that turns out!
Not a ton has happened this past 2 weeks. Elder Harris has found several nice resteraunts already. It was actually pretty funny, we found this one pizzeria that we thought would be good. We sat down and got our pizza, which was pretty good. Then, we're looking around, and we see this painting of a naked woman laying in pasta. And then we weren't really sure what to do. So we ate our pizza and are now in search of a different place. Woohoo! Europe!
I went back to Kherson this last week and was on exchanges with Elder Fuller. That was fun, we got to go around and teach a few lessons, be a boss companionship for a day. Elder Harris and I got on the train back, which broke down and sat about 5 minutes from the station for about an hour. That was annoying.
I'm learning Ukrainian! Our friend Dasha somehow got it into her head that I speak Ukrainian, which got me thinking; if I learn Ukrainian it should solidify my knowledge of Russian. Plus, I'll be able to understand people who speak serjic better. It's already helped quite a bit! The only thing is, I don't have anybody to speak Ukrainian with because hardly anybody in this part of Ukraine actually speaks Ukrainian. I can annoy my companions with it though, so that's good.
Well, that's just about it.
So...
Peace out?
Elder Robison
